Hello, families! We are so excited to bring No Limits for deaf children to Northern California. No Limits is a nonprofit organization for deaf and hard of hearing children based in Los Angeles. In 1996, a teacher of the deaf named Michelle Christie came up with the idea to bring theater to deaf children. The idea behind it was to expand communication and vocabulary while enhancing students' confidence. Since its first show in 1996, No Limits has grown exceptionally. Along with the main center-based, after-school program in Culver City, No Limits also operates in Oxnard and provides children with theatrical productions, speech therapy, teen groups, and parent classes at no cost to families. Children and their families - parents, siblings, and extended family have the chance to become advocates for those with hearing loss. No Limits - the brilliant brainchild of Dr. Christie - now encompasses stage productions held all over the country - including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and Carnegie Hall in New York City. We are so excited to bring No Limits to the Bay Area! We hope it will thrive and give plenty of children the same opportunities to thrive.

In Support of No Limits for deaf children and families
No Limits works with underserved deaf children and their families, teaching them the skills to succeed in school and in life through our after-school educational centers and distinguished theater arts program. We provide the highest quality of services at no cost to families, because every deaf child deserves to reach their full potential, regardless of economic status.
We cultivate a community that actively involves parents in the education process, and instills in every deaf child the spirit of our motto: "I CAN DO IT!"
