A Message From Kayla Erickson
Dear family and friends,
Next month I have the honor of performing in a wacky whirlwind known as the 24 Hour Musical, in which UCLA students come together to cast, direct, rehearse and perform a musical in- that's right- a 24 hour period. Sleep-deprived theatre weirdos singing and dancing- what could be more amusing? Proceeds from this delightful event benefit No Limits for deaf children.
In 2002, the No Limits Educational Center opened in Culver City, California to provide services for low-income school-age deaf children and their families, which include individual therapy, academic tutoring, literacy, STEM, arts enrichment, parent education, audiological services, and a Leadership and Mentoring Academy for teens.
Your generosity will go towards giving hearing impaired children the tools they need to boldly communicate, dream, and achieve, developed through the transformative magic of theatre. In a nurturing, imaginative environment, they gain confidence and language skills by playing theatre games and performing on stage. Any small contribution will go a long way in helping these beautiful children unlock their potential.
Much love and appreciation,
Kayla
